EVENT OVERVIEW

Description

Standup for the Cure is a unique, fun, and family-friendly stand up paddling event that raises money for breast cancer screening and research. Each festival-style event includes instructor-led demos and clinics, live music, happy hour, and lunch. The event includes the world’s largest fleet of stand up paddlers—the Sea of Pink—with participants of all levels wearing their pink jerseys in honor of breast cancer survivors. Event participants include paddlers of all abilities and ages, teams, and World Champion instructors.

Mission

Standup for the Cure's (SUFTC) mission is to build a compassionate community engaged in raising funds and awareness to fight breast cancer through events and programs that celebrate a healthy lifestyle.

Vision

We Standup together to empower our family, friends, and communities to pursue an end to breast cancer.
