Join the KOMO family for a day of summer fun, food, and live music at Stand Up for the Cure August 24 at Lake Sammamish State Park.

With support from Presenting Partners Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Boardworks Surf the 2nd Annual event at Lake Sammamish State Park doubled attendance and fundraising efforts of the previous year.

The second annual Stand Up for the Cure, brought expert AND first-time paddleboarders to the lake to raise money for early breast cancer detection, treatment and education.
